Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Precertifications

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) only awards Professional Services Contracts to firms and/or teams whose members have demonstrated a verified level of previous work experience. Firms do this through a "Precertification" application and evaluation process. TxDOT requires Precertification for a range of professional engineering, architectural, surveying, and consulting services within 24 Work Groups, each subdivided into many individual Work Categories.
