Entitled "Shading Eyes at the Dawn," the poster explores how new technologies of renewable energy projects can have challenges when dealing with impacts to cultural resources such as archaeological sites, historic resources, and Tribal lands. The author asserts that some of the challenge comes from the technologies' relative newness in communities with closely-held connections to the lands that may go back hundreds or thousands of years. For comparison, the author also includes cultural resource issues associated with traditional energy as well.
