The AmaTerra Costume Contest and Chili Cookoff!

In honor of AmaTerra President, Jill Madden's, Spooooooooookyyyyy birthday, AmaTerra Environmental staff participated in their annual costume contest. With so many out in the field, we didn't have as many available to dress up, but it was still a lot of fun! AmaTerra staff are heading west to scenic, sunny, exciting Las Vegas to attend the 2014 Solar Power International Conference! We are excited to get to rub shoulders with the latest innovators in the world of solar energy. Ever since AmaTerra senior archaeologist and environmental project manager, Mason Miller, directed cultural resource compliance and permitting for Austin Energy's Webberville Solar Array, a nearly 400 acre facility east of the City of Austin, he has been personally excited and driven by the exciting solar industry.
